Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Pod20Testers (operated by Vanguard Interactive Labs), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our platform. This agreement applies to both Client Developers purchasing QA testing services and Freelance Operators participating in testing pods.
2. Description of Service
Pod20Testers is a managed QA testing agency. We provide crowdsourced testing pods (groups of freelance operators) to engage with Android applications on the Google Play Store for continuous 14-day intervals.
3. Independent Operation Disclaimer
Pod20Testers and Vanguard Interactive Labs are entirely independent entities. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or formally associated with Google LLC, Alphabet Inc., or the Google Play Store.
Our service strictly guarantees the provision of human testers to meet the mathematical 14-day continuous engagement thresholds required for production consideration. We do not guarantee that Google will approve your application for production access. Google's internal reviewers make final decisions based on app quality, policy compliance, and their own proprietary rubrics.
4. Client Developer Obligations
- Clients must provide a valid, public Closed Testing URL and correctly format their app parameters.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring the Vanguard Google Group is successfully added to their Google Play Console's tester list.
- If a campaign is paused due to a dead link (404 Not Found), the 14-day testing clock will not resume until the Client resolves the routing error and updates their parameters in the Command Center.
5. Operator (Tester) Obligations
- Operators must use real Android hardware. Emulators, server farms, and automated macro-scripts are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate purging.
- Operators are subject to our Behavioral Trust Engine. Failing to upload daily telemetry logs within the required 24-hour window will result in a Trust Score penalty. Dropping below a 60% Trust Score results in permanent disqualification and forfeiture of pending payouts.
- All diagnostic screenshots uploaded must represent genuine, active engagement with the assigned target application.
6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Payments for campaigns are collected as one-time fees via our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. Once a testing pod is dispatched and the 14-day cycle initiates, refunds cannot be issued as operational capital has already been allocated to the freelance testers.
Elite Track Resubmission: Clients who purchase the Vanguard Elite track are eligible for one (1) free 14-day re-testing cycle if their initial production access request is rejected by Google, provided they have made substantive updates to their app code based on our QA Debrief.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Vanguard Interactive Labs, its directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
