1. Introduction

Vanguard Interactive Labs ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of both our Client Developers and our Freelance Operators. This policy details how we collect, process, and safeguard your data across the Pod20Testers platform.

2. Information We Collect

For Client Developers:

  • Account Information: Email addresses and secure authentication identifiers.
  • Application Metadata: App names, Android package IDs, and Google Play Store URLs submitted for testing.
  • Payment Data: We do not store raw credit card numbers. All billing is securely processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. We only store encrypted webhook payloads to verify transaction fulfillment.

For Freelance Operators (Testers):

  • Identity Verification: Names, birthdates, physical addresses, and visual ID captures (KYC) required to prevent bot-farming and verify human operation.
  • Hardware Telemetry: Device models, OS versions, IMEI fragments, and serial numbers.
  • Session Data: Diagnostic screenshots, crash feedback texts, and timestamped activity logs generated during active testing sessions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data exclusively to:

  • Facilitate the 14-day Closed Testing cycle required by Google Play.
  • Provide Client Developers with aggregated QA Analytics and PDF Debriefs.
  • Calculate, track, and disburse payouts to Freelance Operators.
  • Enforce our Behavioral Trust Engine to maintain fleet integrity.
  • Prevent fraud, botting, and abuse of our systems.

4. Information Sharing & Third-Party Architecture

We do not sell, rent, or illegally distribute your personal information. We share data only with strictly vetted infrastructure partners necessary to operate the platform:

  • Firebase (Google Cloud): For secure NoSQL database hosting, real-time WebSockets, and Cloud Storage for diagnostic images.
  • Lemon Squeezy: For secure processing of client checkout forms and payment validation.

Note for Testers: Anonymized forms of your data (such as your Device Model, OS Version, and feedback text) are shared directly with the Client Developer assigned to your pod to assist them in debugging their application.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account data and telemetry logs for as long as your account is active. If an Operator is permanently disqualified or purged by Vanguard HQ, their related biometric and hardware data is wiped from active databases.

If you wish to request a manual deletion of your account or data, please contact Vanguard HQ administrative support.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our operational procedures or to comply with international regulations. We will notify active users of significant changes via their respective Command Center or Operator Dashboard.
